In EXEMPTAX you can generate API keys to support integration of customer and exemption data into other external systems. To generate an API key, please follow the steps below: 

1. From the app header, navigate to your company settings (limited to administrators).

2. Navigate to API Keys by clicking on the items towards the bottom of the navigation bar. Once there you can click on the blue Get API Key button.

3. Once you click on the button, you'll see a modal where you'll have a chance to name the key. 

4. After naming the key and clicking on Confirm, the system will generate an API key (note for privacy purposes the actual key has been committed) as show below. 

Please be sure to employ proper security procedures around all API keys to prevent any unauthorized access into your accounts.
