The following documentation provides high level instructions on creating and assigning a user role needed to support NetSuite integration with EXEMPTAX.


INFO: To support integration, please create the EXEMPTAX-IT role first by viewing documentation on creating custom user roles in NetSuite.


1. First navigate to the function "List", then "Employee" and select option "New". Once there, you have the option to setup various details. Please proceed by selecting the following:


  • Setup employee name 
  • Setup employee e-mail address
    • Your EXEMPTAX representative will provide you the name and email that needs to be entered.


Note: Please select "Parent Company" as Subsidiary Classification.



2. Grant this Employee access to NetSuite by selecting the option "Give Access".


3. Assign the EXEMPTAX-IT user role for this NetSuite user.
