In EXEMPTAX there may be times where you may want to modify the properties of completed certificates (made a mistake, certificate needs updating, etc.). To make modifications, please review the steps below.


Please keep in mind that access to certificates might be restricted for some user roles; please contact your EXEMPTAX account owner to check if you have sufficient access rights to perform this function.


TIP: Please view the documentation on how to reject completed certificates, if you want to want to perform this function instead of making changes.


1. On your Dashboard, click on "Certificates" and then select "Queues" to show a list of certificates. Select the certificate you want to modify by pressing on the relevant "Cert ID" button.


TIP: Set your "Certificate Status" filter criteria to include "Completed" as shown below.




2. Once inside the completed certificate process area, you will be automatically directed to the "Classification Step" (Step 1). 


TIP: To view more details about this certificate, you can navigate to Step 2 ("Validation") and Step 3 ("Authentication") if this function has been utilized for this certificate.




3. The editable portion is broken as the "Certificate Details" section. Here you can change a range of data for this particular certificate. Please press the "Save" button when done making all changes.


TIP: Please consider the impact of any changes with regards to exposure and other factors.




4. As a final step, please confirm by accepting the changes and pressing the "Update" button.
